WEST BRANCH — The city will continue to have separate planning commission and Downtown Development Authority boards after the city council voted unanimously Monday night to keep both boards separate.

Councilman Rusty Showalter made the motion during the city’s April 16 meeting to keep the boards separate moving forward.
