Body of Rose City woman discovered in woods

ROSE CITY — Police uncovered the body of Laura Brindley, 45, of Rose City, around 11 a.m. on Jan. 17. Foul play is not suspected in her death.

Lt. Bob Clayton said Brindley’s vehicle was found in the roadway on Rose City Road. A single set of tracks led into the woods and the keys were in the vehicle when it was discovered. The tracks were followed into the woods for about a mile before officers sighted Brindley’s remains.

A purse and scarf were found along the trail of tracks. The incident is under investigation.

I would like to send my condolences to Laura's family.......What a terrible tradegy...... She will be missed.

Laurie Brindley was the finest bartender in town, Rose City will never be the same without her. Her contagious smile will live forever, and I am happy to have know her. PEACE, CHARLENE

Farewell Laurie, all your regulars from Cedar Bar will miss you so much, RIP for you are home now.

i wouls like to send my sympthany to laura's family she was a good hearted women she made it fun when u were around her i am glad i was friends with the family and her R.I.P laura
