Hale Winterfest

The Hale Winterfest offered several activities for residents of the area and other parts of the state to enjoy Jan. 6-8. Saturday, Jan. 6 included an antique snowmobile show, outhouse races, a chili cook-off, a bump and run derby and snowmobile drag races. Events were held at several locations in Hale.

Remember the Raider & the Massey Ferguson machines? Not your typical design of a snowmobile and there were some others as well. With hundreds of manufacturers of snowmobiles in the day, you had your choice. Too bad no snow for the event. I liked the pictures and it looks like all had a good time.
