The annual Mutt March was held at Irons Park in West Branch Saturday, Sept. 8 to raise funds for the Ogemaw County Humane Society Animal Shelter. Many dogs and their owners came out to participate in the parade around the park, and several vendors were also on hand to show off products and services aimed toward pets. There were also contests for the tallest dog, the best costume, the best trick, the ugliest dog and for which dog could sit or stay the longest.
