A downtown West Branch Halloween celebration labeled Freaky Friday was held Oct. 26 as a fundraiser for Fabulous Fridays. Downtown businesses offered Halloween-themed attractions, such as Tarot readings, spooky story time and "blood-tasting." Outside of the businesses, refreshments were served at the event area on Third Street, and there were several contests, such as the best-dressed witch competition and best costume.
