No serious injuries in two-car accident

WEST BRANCH — There were no serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident that occurred on Houghton Avenue and Third Street in West Branch Aug. 22.

According to the accident report obtained through the West Branch Police Department, the accident occurred when a Pontiac four-door driven by Jasmine Lemay Engel collided with a Buick four-door driven by Anthony Michael Winters at approximately 1:42 p.m.

Engel was reportedly traveling westbound on Houghton Avenue, and Winters was traveling southbound on Third Street.

Winters was transported to the hospital after complaining of neck pain, but according to the report the injuries were not suspected to be serious. Engel and her passenger, 1-year-old Landen Joshua Bohanon, were not taken to the hospital. The report states they were shaken, but uninjured.

No further information is available at this time.
