Fans and racers battled some cold fall weather to make it out to the Ogemaw County Fairgrounds Oct. 6 for the Bump and Run State Championship. The event, put on by Unique Motor Sports, put racers against each other for the chance at a purse of $13,000.

Close to 132 cars competed in the event. Brian Breuker of Holland took the win in the small car class, with Jim Simmons of Tawas City winning the big car class.
