Single-car accident occurs on Rose City Road

ROSE CITY — A single-car accident occurred on Rose City Road Jan. 18, but no major injuries were sustained.

Authorities on the scene said witnesses reported that the vehicle, a Toyota Rav-4 driven by Bruce Buys of West Branch, was heading east on the road when it started drifting off to the right, eventually going into the ditch and colliding with a tree.

The accident report completed by the Michigan State Police stated that Buys was transported to West Branch Regional Medical Center for minor injuries, and he also did not remember the crash.

The MSP, Rose City Police Department, Ogemaw County EMS, Rose City Fire Department and Ogemaw County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene.
