Torch Run travels through West Branch

Area residents participated in the 2012 Law Enforcement Torch Run in West Branch Sept. 12. The run began at the Ogemaw County Correctional Facility, traveled through town and ended at McDonald’s. The run is the largest grassroots fundraising effort for Special Olympics International. The goals of the event are to raise funds and to create awareness for the athletes of the Michigan Special Olympics.
