OHHS programs, students’ talents on display at open house

WEST BRANCH — Ogemaw Heights High School hosted its annual open house Feb. 4, welcoming parents, students and community members to enjoy a night of music and discovery and sharing with them what the school has to offer.

Throughout the event, there were displays from student organizations detailing ways to get involved and performances by the choir, jazz band and knowledge bowl team. The Science Olympiad students hosted a talent show to close out the evening.

The teaching staff spoke with current and future students and their parents about the school's course offerings.

Representatives from the Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan, the parent advisory group and the Michigan State Police were also on hand to provide information to those in attendance.
