Victorian Art Fair battles the weather

WEST BRANCH — After a rainy Saturday washed out most of the activities at the Victorian Art Fair, visitors on Sunday had to deal with high humidity and temperatures approaching 90 degrees.

Rain showers that lasted the majority of the day on Saturday caused the cancellation of most of the stage acts, as well as the annual boat race in the river in Irons Park. Exhibitors were down as well, due to the weather.

However, as is often the case in Michigan, Sunday was a completely different story, with hot and humid weather creating a perfect day for activities at the art fair.
