WPAS requests millage renewal


Whittemore-Prescott Area Schools have a millage renewal request on the May 3 ballot.  The district has levied 18 mills on non-homestead property since 1997.  If renewed, the millage would continue to levy 18 mills on non-homestead property. Car flipped on Houghton Ave.


A 16-year old female driver heading west on Houghton Ave. Apr. 11 at approximately 3:15 p.m.  struck a vehicle driven by a 24-year old male who allegedly failed to yield while traveling northbound on Fourth Street causing his vehicle to roll.
