Philip Jerry LaCosse, age 81, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021, at MidMichigan Medical Center in West Branch, Michigan. He lived in Prudenville, Michigan, since 2018, formerly of Wauchula, Florida.
Philip was born April 1, 1940, in Delta County, Michigan to Philip and Lorraine (Johnson) Lacossee.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1960 to 1962. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and being outdoors. He could tear anything apart and put it back together without a problem. He was a mechanic by trade.
Philip is survived by his children, Howard LaCosse of Rose City, Jerry (Chali) Lacosse of Rose City, Carla Lacosse of Prudenville, and Sandy LaCosse of Prudenville; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three sisters and three brothers.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna Fay LaCosse; great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Lynn; and brothers, Richard, Melvin, and Brian Lacosse.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
