The Easter Bunny is working hard this year to provide plenty of opportunities for kids to hunt for easter eggs. Alger Parks and Recreation will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at Moffatt Township Fire department Apr.
Randy Leiter will be hosting and performing at his own self-titled show at Forward Conference Center Apr. 15 at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $20 and are free to kids 12 years old and younger. The show runs for about two hours.
Last fall, my husband and I traveled to South Korea for our daughter’s wedding. Our new son-inlaw’s parents (and their friends) wanted to show us some of the beautiful countryside.
Judson Baptist Church in Prescott is hosting and Easter Egg Hunt for kids 6th and under Saturday April 8, beginning at 2 p.m. In addition to the egg hunt, there will be crafts, prizes, a jellybean guessing game, and hot dogs, chips and cookies.
Syrup makers is Ogemaw County celebrated Michigan Maple Syrup Weekend Mar. 24 and 25. The Reetz Family Sugar Bush is on N. Campbell Road, outside of West Branch. Chris Reetz said the harvest is good this year.
March is Reading Month and HPC Credit Union helped some local schools celebrate. HPC staff started an initiative to bring brand new books to local elementary schools in the areas that it serves.
