OGEMAW COUNTY — A vehicle purchase for the sheriff’s office was approved in a 4-1 vote at the Board of Commissioners regular meeting May 25. Commissioner Jenny David voted no.

URBANA — Courtney Wangler, currently a third-year student at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, was recently honored with a scholarship. Wangler is the daughter of Ted Wangler and Delta Wangler of West Branch.
