The Strike Team Investigate Narcotics Group released its 2022 annual report. The group is made up of State police and local law enforcement agencies. The multi-jurisdictional group covers Arenac, Crawford, Iosco, Ogemaw, Oscoda and Roscommon counties.

989-387-3735 The Whittemore-Prescott Area Schools Board of Education unanimously approved the superintendent contract for Michael Ehinger at its May 15 meeting. Ehinger will be taking over as superintendent July 1, 2023, one day after Superintendent Joseph Perrera’s last day.

West Branch City Council presented Dianne Gavitt with a resolution of appreciation and commendation for her work as a member of the West Branch election commission during its May 15 meeting. Gavitt served as an election commission member since 2008. She announced her retirement from the commission Apr. 26.
