Strawberries in winter

Last Friday, Jan. 27, I enjoyed a beautiful sunrise while having toast with strawberry jam. After a particularly busy week during an unusually busy and cloudy January, I had a moment to savor my breakfast, enjoy the sun and catch up on the news. I turned my radio on just in time to hear a recording of a conversation between the daughter and granddaughter of two Holocaust survivors, which was being broadcast to mark Holocaust Remembrance Day.
