Whittemore-Prescott boys wrestling team competed at individual districts in Manton on Feb. 8. Thomas Saunders brought home a first place finish, Jayden Goupil came in second place and Brian Schliep took third place. My kids battled all day long and wrestled some tough matches. I’m very proud of how they wrestled.

The Ogemaw Heights High School Wrestling Club beat Grayling and then Tawas to earn their fifth consecutive district championship last Thursday night.

The Ogemaw Heights High School varsity boys basketball team won a match against visiting Farwell Tuesday, Feb. 4, by a final score of 63-25.

The Ogemaw Heights Swimmers and Divers traveled to Caro Jan. 21 to take on the Tigers in a dual meet. The Falcons won, 88-73.

The WPAS girls wrestling team traveled to Midland on Feb. 2

The Ogemaw Heights high school varsity basketball teams both lost to visiting Clare, first the boys on Jan. 28 followed by the girls on Jan. 29.

The Whittemore-Prescott wrestling team traveled to Tawas Jan. 22 for a North Star League meet, W-P 60, Mio 21 and W-P 66, Tawas 15.

Ogemaw Heights High School senior Charleigh Glasser signed a commitment letter to attend Alma College on Friday, Jan. 24.
