Susan was born November 10, 1946, in Detroit to Earl and Marie DuBois. She graduated from Roseville High School in 1964.

Susan is survived by her husband Warren Eugene “Gene” Reetz; children Corinn (Chris) VanWyck, Dionne Boza, and Jeffrey (Lucie) Reetz; Grandchildren Brittany Boza, Steven (Barren) Grunenwald, Eva, Amelia, and Dominic VanWyck, Nicholas, Annabella, and Christian Reetz; her sisters Janet (Bob) Reynolds, Marilyn Wieczorek, and Nancy (Dave) DeCook. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Marie DuBois; a son, Todd Boza; and a brother, James DuBois.

During her 30-plus year career at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan she was able to earn her bachelor’s degree from Northwood University and her master’s degree at Central Michigan University.

Susan worked her way up the ladder at BCBCM, retiring as a director of national accounts. She then went on to teach business classes at Macomb County Community College for five years.

Susan was very proud of her Italian Heritage and was an active member of the Federazione Abruzzese del Michigan becoming a board member and membership chairman. She was also very active in fundraising for Special Olympics Michigan.

Susan loved playing golf with her husband and girlfriends and traveling to many other states. She was especially proud of her three hole-in-ones.

A Memorial Visitation for Susan was held Wednesday, March 29 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Visitation continued Thursday, March 30 at 10 a.m. with Memorial Service following at 11 a.m. at Kaul Funeral Home.
