Rosella Jane Bragg, age 82 passed away at Mc-Laren Bay Region in Bay City, MI on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. She was born on March 19, 1941, to Don and Ida (Thomas) Walter in Chesaning, MI. She lived in West Branch for most of her life.

Rose married Harold Bragg on August 13, 1959. She was a member at St. Joseph Catholic Church and Council of Catholic Women. Rose worked for West Branch-Rose City Schools in Nutrition Services. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Rose and Harold enjoyed their retirement years in Florida. She loved her husband and family dearly.

Rose is survived by her children Brenda (Barry) Awrey of West Branch, Greg (Tina) Bragg of West Branch, Dana (Norm) Kline of West Branch, and Dawn (Bill) VanDeCar of Died May 2, 2023

Port Orchard, WA; grandchildren Amber (Jeremy) Akin, Sarah Awrey, Ryan (Lisa) Bragg, Jason (Stephenie) Bragg, Allison (Brian) Bowen, Cameron (Hannah) Bragg, Jeffery (Jena) Freimark, Ashleigh (Michael) Anno, Tiffani (Codey) Freimark, Nathan Freimark, Kimberly (Ben) Pierce, Daniel (Shalon) Kline, Justin (Courtney) Bragg, Dr. William (Brittany) VanDeCar IV, and Kaitlyn (Neil) Hull; and many-great grandchildren; brother Ray Walter; sisters Judy (John) Roach and Louise (Tom) Curtis; and many extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Kirk, and great granddaughter Emilia.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be Wednesday, May 10, from 2 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 3 p.m. The Celebration of Life Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday, May 11, at 11 a.m. with visitation starting at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Father Emmanuel Finbarr will officiate.
