Anthony Jankowiak, V, 40, of Sterling, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, December 15, 2019 at his residence.

He was born October 19, 1979 in Pontiac to Debbie Sue (Jankowiak) Spoelstra and the late Anthony Jankowiak, IV. After graduating from Standish-Sterling High School, Anthony joined the U. S. Army and served in Iraq 2003-2004. While in the service he met Patricia Secor who became his wife in 2002 in Killeen, Texas. He loved to hunt, fish and go to family picnics. Anthony enjoyed riding his riding lawn mower around the yard and he loved his Dodge Charger. Most especially Anthony loved to use his great smile to make other people smile. He was a happy giving person. Anthony was there to help anyone if anything was needed.

Anthony is survived by his wife, Patricia and one son, Anthony Jankowiak, VI. He is also survived by his mother, Debbie Sue Spoelstra and step-dad, Douglas Spoelstra. Anthony is survived by a brother, Scott Gray; a sister, Christy Smith and his grandmother, Georgia Gray. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and 2 nephews, Dominick Smith and Doniven Smith.

According to Anthony’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service celebrating Anthony’s life will be scheduled in the near future. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-STANDISH CHAPEL, Standish, Michigan.
