Harold R. Rosenbum

Died April 13, 2018


Harold R. Rosenbum, 78, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 at MidMichigan Medical Center - West Branch.

He was born June 13, 1939, in Flint to Bryan and Myrtle (Medlin) Rosenbum. Harold lived in Alger for 32 years, formerly of Flint. He married Dolores Wise in Holly on Oct. 21, 1961. He was known as the Skidway lottery man and enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to deer camp and playing cards. He enjoyed spending time with his family, who call him “Uncle Bub.”

Harold is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dolores Rosenbum; daughter, Demae (Galen Gavit) Rosenbum; sons, Dale (Ann) Rosenbum and Ryan Rosenbum; grandchildren, Nicholas (Tasha Smalley-Rozell) Rozell, Erica Rosenbum, Audrey Rozell, Lauren Rosenbum and Galen K. “Goobie” Gavit; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol (Jim) Navarre and Sharon Rivard; and brother, Roger (Nancy) Rosenbum.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Raymond Dudley; and brother-in-law, John Rivard.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin Monday, April 16, 2018, at 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. Burial will be Tuesday, April 17, at 1 p.m. at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Nancy Rosenbum will officiate.
