Loretta M. Izworski

Died Jan. 5, 2018


Loretta M. Izworski, 87, of West Branch passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at The Horizon Senior Living in West Branch.

Loretta was born Feb. 24, 1930, to Henry and Minnie Weil in Anchorville. She lived in West Branch since 1954, formerly of Richmond, Mich. Loretta was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary 3775 of West Branch. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

Loretta is survived by her children, Joseph (Glenna) Izworski III of West Branch, George (Sherrie) Izworski of West Branch, David Izworski of West Branch, Frank (Becky) Izworski of West Branch, William (Rose) Izworski of Comstock Park and Marie (Bill) Wilkins of West Branch; 15 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Joseph F. Izworski Jr.; son, Michael Izworski; great-grandson, Derek; five sisters; and three brothers.

Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, from 2-9 p.m. with Scripture service at 7 p.m. A celebration of life Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, at noon with visitation from 11 a.m. until time of Mass. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Branch. Father Patrick Maher will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands in West Branch.
