Luke Ervin Moore, 58, of West Branch passed away after a long illness Saturday, April 21, 2018, at St. Mary’s hospital in Saginaw.

Luke was born Feb. 2, 1960, in Alpena to Birdsell W. Moore Sr. and Ida (Kropp) Moore. He was a lifelong resident of West Branch. He loved to play his guitar and had a natural talent for music. He loved to ride motorcycles and work on restoring vehicles. Luke lived for the moment to make someone laugh.

Luke is survived by his daughter, Angela (William) Beauchamp of West Branch; his grandchildren, Desiree Beauchamp of Mount Pleasant, Roland Beauchamp, Paradise Beauchamp and Malachi William Luke Beauchamp, all of West Branch. He is also survived by his two great-granddaughters, Auriiella and Acelynn Rosales; his ex-wife, Judith Moore; stepson, James (Jamie) Johnson; sisters, Pat (Harold) Nimeth, Beverly (Vern) Medford and Sueanne Swartz; along with many nieces and nephews he was close with.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Suzanne Nichols Moore; his twin brother, Mark; and brothers, Birdsell Jr., David, Paul and Joel Moore; and baby, Luke Moore Jr.

Funeral services for Luke will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service. The Rev. Tim Dibble will officiate.
