Robert F. Maxwell, 46, of Prescott passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019, with his family at his side following a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born March 21, 1973, in Pontiac to Carl and Judith (Moore) Maxwell. He graduated as part of the class of 1991 at Whittemore-Prescott High School, where he was a state competitor in wrestling. Upon graduation he went to a technical institute in Chicago to become a mechanic. He eventually became a journeyman ironworker with Local Union No. 25. He has worked for Kirby Steel Inc. of Burton for the last 13 years. He married Tracey Pavlik on Nov. 28, 1992, in West Branch. Bob’s passion was racing motorcycles on both dirt and ice with his wife and friends. He enjoyed camping, watching his kids play sports, fixing and building machines and spending time with family and friends.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Tracey of Prescott; daughter, Jordan of Grand Rapids; son, Bobby of Prescott; parents, Carl and Judy Maxwell of Prescott; brothers, Chuck Burtch of Whittemore and Bill Burtch of Sterling; father-in-law, Sam Pavlik of Prescott; a niece and five nephews; and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Pamela Pavlik; and grandmother, Pearl Arndt.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, June 18, 2019, from 5-8 p.m. and again Wednesday, June 19, from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. at Judson Baptist Church in Prescott with Pastor Doug Kennedy officiating.
