A student leadership team visited St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School to read for first and second graders Jan. 16.
The Maternity Unit at MyMichigan Medical Center West Branch celebrated its 500th birth on December 31. Baby girl Aurora Jean was born on the last day of the year at 10:43 p.m., weighing 5 pounds 12 ounces, and 19 inches long. Proud parents are Alexis Madigan and Jason Moore of Standish. Aurora is the couple’s second child, joining brother Jason in the family of four.
