The West Branch City Council held a regular meeting May 20 to continue discussions around sidewalk café operations and consider special event permits for two events returning to the city this summer.With new sidewalks come new regulations and guidelines from the council and new plans from local businesses.

Incumbent township supervisor Sandra Miller did not register for the Aug. 6 primary election.
Richland Township
All incumbent township officials in Richland Township have registered to run in the Aug. 6 primary and no challengers have registered.

Logan Township
Incumbent township supervisor Karen Maxwell did not register for the primary election Aug. 6. and has stated intentions to step down.
Horton Township
Incumbents Karen Michael (township supervisor) and Mark Lehman Jr. (trustee) of West Branch, Karen Howard (clerk) and Paige Lynn Reinhardt (treasurer) of Alger registered for the Aug. 6
Goodar Township
All incumbent Goodar Township officials registered seeking Republican Party nominations in the Aug. 6 primary election.
