A 42-year-old man has been arraigned on four counts related to an alleged break-in at the former maximum security prison in Standish.On Sunday, March 10, the Arenac County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police, and Chippewa Tribal Police were dispatched to the Standish Maximum Correctional Facility in Standish after an alarm sounded around 11:30 p.m.The prison, located at 4713 M-61, was closed in 2009, 19 years after its initial opening in 1990.
