The Charlton Heston Academy Patriots beat the Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals by a final score of 59-8 in a varsity football matchup in Whittemore Oct. 17.

Ogemaw beat Sanford Meridian at home Oct. 17 by a final score of 34-0. The win gives Ogemaw the overall Jack Pine Championship with a 6-0 League record.

The Ogemaw Heights girls’ swim team traveled to Alpena again Oct. 7 to take on the Wildcats in dual meet action. The Falcons won the meet, 98-72.

The Whittemore-Prescott varsity football team lost an away game to the Alcona Tigers Oct. 10 by a final score of 8-40.
