Easter egg hunt for children 11 years old and younger, Rose City Park, Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. The event is sponsored by Knights of Columbus and the community. The eggs go fast, so don’t be late!

Kiwanis Corner
Sales are going on now for our annual 1-2-3 Lottery to benefit kids. Buy tickets from sports teams and kids’ organizations. When you buy tickets, the organization keeps all the profits.
We will be starting our flag sign-up for downtown as Mother Nature permits. Let’s help the town fly strong this year.
Be a part of our team. Kiwanis Club meets at noon on the second and fourth Tuesdays each month at G’s Pizzeria. Anyone interested in learning about our organization is welcome to attend. If you would like to be a guest speaker to show us what you do, call JoLin at 989-873-4532.
Aktion Club of West Branch
Aktion Club continues to collect bottles and cans. Call 315-725-1199 to arrange for pick up or drop off locations.
We are having a bake sale April 11, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the high rise on Valley St. in West Branch. We will be doing another RED Pin Bowling event in June.
We support numerous organizations in Ogemaw County. Those with special needs interested in joining our club, come on the second Wednesday of the month, at noon, to First United Methodist Church at the corner of Fairview and State Streets.
Ogemaw County Food Pantry
Please donate food or money to help us serve the influx of families who need help with food. We accept donations every Wednesday from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thank you for your assistance. The pantry is located in the outreach building behind Trinity Episcopal Church, 100 E. Houghton Avenue in West Branch. Thanks to all who have donated. We are open every Wednesday, 9 to 11 a.m. or until we run out of food. If the weather is bad, call 315-725-1199 to see if we are open. Families can come once a month.
