Each year select students from Skeels Christian School (SCS), third through twelfth grade, participate in academic competitions within the Michigan Association of Christian Schools (MACS). Grades third through sixth are tested in English, history, math, and science.
Students that placed in the top three in the state for these grades are:

3rd grade science – 1st place Hudson Striker
4th grade English – 1st place Jace Tresler
4th history – 2nd place Nate Barnes
4th history – 3rd place Jace Tresler
5th history – 3rd place Norah Brown
6th science – 2nd place Wesley Ehle
Seventh through twelfth grade students test in advanced math, geometry, biology, and chemistry. Those students that placed in the top three in the state for their categories are:

9th-12th grade biology – 2nd place R. Lee Barnes
9th – 12th grade poetry – 1st place Kynlee Carr
SCS students secured 41 top 10 finishes in the MACS state competition. Congratulations to all our students for the hard work that they have exhibited this year in both their classes and in MACS testing.
