Around 2,200 Consumers Energy customers were briefly without power Monday due to high winds in the area. The company’s outage maps suggested most of the outages were concentrated in Ogemaw County.

Specific details as to the extent of the outages were unavailable at press time. Wind speeds in excess of 60 mph were recorded at Houghton County Airport.
