Incumbent township supervisor Dave Ryan has not registered for the Aug. 6 primary election and is reportedly not seeking reelection.
Incumbents have registered to run in the Aug. 6 primary for all of Ogemaw County’s 13 official positions up for election this November.
Danny Morrison of West Branch is challenging incumbent township supervisor Ron Quackenbush in the Aug.
The board of trustees for Ogemaw Township held a regular meeting May 15 to discuss possible uses of fire millage funds and potentially expanding the duties of the township constable.
