The Falcon girls’ swim team traveled to Oscoda to take on the Owls in dual meet action Sept.16.

Ogemaw Heights High School announced its 2025 homecoming representatives last week. A king and queen will be selected from five pairs of seniors. The Falcons will celebrate homecoming for the week leading up to its game Sept. 26 against Clare.

The Falcon girls’ swim team traveled to Essexville Garber Sept. 9 for a dual meet with the Dukes. Ogemaw won the meet, 114-54.

Ogemaw beat Gladwin 42-14. Gladwin scored on their first drive of the game, then Ogemaw scored 35 consecutive points to pull away.

Ogemaw Heights varsity volleyball team traveled to St. Louis Sept. 10 for a Jack Pine Conference match-up. The Falcons won in three sets: 25-15, 25-19 and 25-19.

The Ogemaw Heights Girls Golf team travelled to Maple Creek Golf Course in Shepherd Sept. 8 to play in the second Jack Pine Conference jamboree hosted by Shepherd High School. OHHS finished third out of seven teams.

Ogemaw Heights soccer team played Standish-Sterling Central at home Sept. 8, winning 1-0.

Ogemaw Heights varsity football team played an away game against Flint Hamady Aug. 28, winning 56–8. Quarterback Eion Jones was four for four passing for 167 yards and three touchdowns. Corie Kanitz was on the receiving of two touchdowns on 97 yards. Calvin Marshall caught a 65 yard score.

The Ogemaw Heights girls’ golf team travelled to Bay City Aug. 22 to play John Glenn High School in a nine hole dual match at Bay Valley Golf Course.
