Invasive plants treated at Metcalf Park

Rose City—Conservation organization Huron Pines is laying the groundwork for the planned removal of Sanback Dam in 2026 and the restoration of Beechwood Creek by treating invasive plants growing near the dam and within Metcalf Park.Invasive species are those which have been introduced to a region and cause environmental and economic harm once they become established.
