Falcon wrestlers win regional championship
The Ogemaw Heights High School wrestling club won the Regional 117 championship and advance to the state tournament, which will take place Feb. 21 and 22.
Cardinals compete at districts
Whittemore-Prescott boys wrestling team competed at individual districts in Manton on Feb. 8. Thomas Saunders brought home a first place finish, Jayden Goupil came in second place and Brian Schliep took third place. My kids battled all day long and wrestled some tough matches. I’m very proud of how they wrestled.
OHHS hosts regional tournament Feb. 12
The Ogemaw Heights High School Wrestling Club beat Grayling and then Tawas to earn their fifth consecutive district championship last Thursday night.
